Members have the ability to influence the future direction of EU research programmes through the Piezo Institute.

Services include:

  • Writing European project proposals
  • Managing European research projects
  • Formation and management of collaborations and consortia
  • Identification of opportunities for members

Measurement, test & calibration services

One of the Piezo Institute’s founding members is the UK’s National Physical Laboratory. This provides members of the institute with a unique and valuable resource for measurement, testing and calibration of piezoelectric materials and devices.

Members of the Piezo Institute enjoy discounts of up to 10% on a number of measurement, test and calibration services:

  • Materials measurement and characterisation
  • Consultancy and implementation of measurement best practice
  • Materials and product testing
  • Quality assurance through accurate measurement
  • Online and inline measurement services
  • Calibration of piezo devices
  • Advice and technical support for materials and product standardisation

For further information about Piezo Institute measurement, test & calibration services please mail measurement@piezoinstitute.com

Piezo Directory

The Piezo Institute has developed a unique international directory of people and organisations engaged with the development and application of piezoelectric materials and devices. The directory offers downloadable intelligence and reports about specific piezo market sectors and technologies. It enables members to identify suppliers, partners and customers in the global piezo industry.

Piezo Institute reports

The Piezo Institute provides access to reviews and reports detailing:

  • Materials research
  • Product development
  • Research roadmaps
  • Market information
  • IP and patent information

The growing list of downloadable reports is available to Piezo Institute members.

Patents and intellectual property

The Piezo Institute takes intellectual property (IP) very seriously and will always set up non-disclosure agreements with clients prior to any exchange of information or ideas.

The Institute cannot recommend any one particular patent agent or IP lawyer but recommends members contact the European Patent Office www.epo.org for information concerning IP and direct web links to European countries’ Intellectual Property Offices.

Piezo newsletter and electronic alerts

Members of the Piezo Institute are kept advised of the latest developments and opportunities in piezo materials, technologies and devices through a dedicated quarterly newsletter, Piezo News, and regular electronic alerts.
