Welcome

On behalf of the Piezo Institute and its members, I would like to welcome you to the Piezo 2011 conference, which will take place in Sestriere, Piedmont, Italy on 28th February – 2nd March 2011.

Piezo 2011 is proudly carrying on the traditions of bringing the newest results to the professional audience, through presenting the most important topics within the field and by gathering excellent speakers from world leading R&D and industrial organizations. In addition to their scientific achievements, our conferences also have the traditions of a friendly atmosphere and active networking.

Last but not least, an important tradition of our conferences is carefully selected beautiful venues. This time the meeting will be located in Sestriere (northern Italy), the location of Turin’s 2006 Winter Olympic Games – one of the bests skiing resort in the Italian Alps. We hope that the weather will be with us and many of you will be able to enjoy skiing opportunities and beautiful Italian Alps.
