The Piezo Institute has become a member of EuMaT, the European Technology Platform on Advanced Engineering Materials and Technologies. EuMaT has expertise, influence and a large membership that is primarily derived from industry. It is recognised by the EC as a key advisor for materials science.
With two other virtual institutes, Metamorphose and KMM, the Piezo Institute is the organiser of Work Group 6 (WG6) – Materials for information and communication technologies.
