International Symposium on Integrated Functionalities
June 18-21, 2012
Hong Kong, China
The International Symposium on Integrated Ferroelectrics (ISIF) has been held every year since its creation in 1987, initially at two main sites (Colorado Springs and Monterrey in the USA), and in recent years opened to sites in Europe and Asia. The ISIF has gathered researchers and engineers from academia, national laboratories, and industries, initially focused on fundamental and applied science of ferroelectric and high-dielectric constant thin films, materials integration, and design & fabrication of advanced devices, such as non-volatile ferroelectric random access memories (FeRAMs), ferroelectric thin film-based tunable microwave components and devices, sensors, photovoltaic ferroelectrics for solar cells, micro-electro-mechanical & nano-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS/NEMs).

ISAF-ECAPD 2012: 21st International Symposium on the Applications of Ferroelectrics and 11th European Conference on Applications of Polar Dielectrics
9-13 July 2012
Aveiro, Portugal
Joint conference ISAF-ECAPD 2012 is a forum to present and discuss the state-of-the-art developments in the field of ferroelectrics and related materials and their applications.
International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (ISAF)
ISAF is continuation of a series of international conferences sponsored by the Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics and Frequency Control (UFFC) Society of the Institute of Electric and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). It is aimed to providing a forum to present and discuss the state-of-the-art developments in the field of ferroelectrics and related materials and their applications, including theory and modeling, materials preparation and characterization, device physics and implementation. A special attetion will be devoted to the emerging materials and applications.
European Conference on the Applications of Polar Dielectrics (ECAPD)
ECAPD is the principal European and international forum where the latest research and technological advances in the field of polar dielectric materials are being presented and discussed. The objective of ECAPD-11 is to foster international and interdisciplinary exchange of information and cooperation among researchers in academia, research institutions, and industries, and to stimulate growth in the field of polar dielectric materials and applications.
International Symposium Piezoresponse Force Microscopy and Nanoscale Phenomena in Polar Materials (PFM)
PFM will feature tutorials on the principles and applications of PFM to ferroelectric and multiferroic materials, as well as new areas of PFM applied to strongly correlated oxides and energy storage and conversion materials. In these systems, the local bias-strain coupling is mediated by Jahn-Teller distortions and oxygen or cationic vacancy diffusion, providing a sensitive measure of local dynamics. The recent advances in imaging of conventional ferroelectrics and polar materials as well as time and voltage spectroscopy of static and dynamic domain structures will be presented.

PIEZO 2013 - Formal announcement
17-20 March 2013
Hotel du Golf - Les Arcs 1800, France
The forthcoming Electroceramics for End-users VII conference is the next scientific event in the series of conferences dedicated to advances in electroactive, particularly piezoceramic, materials and devices. We are pleased to announce that the VII electroceramics for end users conference will be held in Les ARCS (France) on 17-20 March, 2013. The information is available at the PIEZO 2013 website: http://piezo2013.sciencesconf.org/
W. Wolny Honorary president of PIEZO 2013 conference
G. Feuillard president of the organizing commitee
PIEZO 2013 Highlights:
Topics: The Conference topics include, but not limited to, material and application-related studies of electroceramics : advanced functional materials, new processing techniques & environmental issues and applications.
Conference proceedings: We aim to provide full peer reviewed submission to the Journal ‘Advances in Applied Ceramics’ for selected papers.
Exhibition: A professionally organized exhibition will be run alongside the conference. This provides exhibiters an opportunity to present their newest instruments, materials, services and software to a highly selective group of scientists and engineers during the conference.
Please submit your abstract by 1st of December, 2012.
